This is why U-16 Girls` National team player Lotta attends NF International
Lotta Lindström has represented the Finnish U-16 girls` national team. This summer, she attends multiple NF Academy events to improve her skills even further.
Lotta Lindström is a player that stands out from the crowd.
She has represented her country on several occasions. This summer she also won the player of the age category during the NF International event in Helsinki.
Lotta praises the coaches that gave her valuable feedback during the NF International event and helped her excel on the pitch.
– The quality was excellent. The coaches gave us clear instructions during the drills. They also told us what we should do to improve afterwards. That was super helpful for me!
NF International events are filling up fast, but we still have availability.
The personal touch
Lotta’s experience at the camp echoes a part of NF Academy`s core philosophy.
NF Academy firmly believes in “the personal touch”, and all of our coaches are committed to giving each and every player sufficient personal feedback. In our experience, adequate feedback for Lotta, might not be enough feedback for everyone else. We want to guide every player differently.
The rationale behind this is that different players follow development trajectories. Our coaches, who all have experience from top international football academies, know this better than anyone. They have seen the best players in the world flourish right in front of their eyes. They know how to cultivate excellent football talents, such as Lotta.

Competitive level
That is, however, not the only thing that makes NF Academy different.
NF Academy also takes great pride in the outstanding level of many of the players attending our camps.
– Although we accept everybody, we see that many of our attendants are highly motivated and this has fostered a competitive culture where different players push each other towards success, says NF Academy director João Plantier.
In Plantier’s opinion, there is no accident that so many of his alumni NF Academy players have represented their national teams on different age levels after attending NF Academy over the last couple of years.
– You have to surround yourself with good players to improve. Most of our attendants tell us that the level of the NF Academy events are significantly higher than what they are used to.

Many opportunities
Several NF Academy camps are upcoming and will go on for every week through August, most weekends in September and many others during the Fall are already scheduled.
By signing up for an NF Academy camp you are not just getting the opportunity to be coached by top-class football educators on a competitive level, you also might take a giant leap closer to your dream of becoming a pro.
At the NF International events, a total of four players will be awarded the prize of “Player of the Age Category” and then advance onto NF Qualification Camp in Denmark. At this camp, there will be another selection of 8 players winning a week-long tryout stay filled with training at one of the world’s best academies, Sporting CP in Portugal.
Looking ahead to the future
Lotta Lindstrøm won the player of her age category during the NF International event in Helsinki and recommend NF Academy for all the reasons listed above.
– What I like most about NF Academy is that they give me the opportunity to prove myself at one of the top European academy’s Lotta says.
Lotta adds that NF Academy has already boosted her talent significantly and also improved her language skills, which she thinks will be valuable in the future.
– The International NF camp taught me to adapt to a new training environment where coaches didn’t speak the same language as I do. I think this ability is necessary for me in the future. My ultimate goal is to go pro abroad. I hope NF Academy can help me reach that goal.
– I will attend the NF international camp at the beginning of August in Helsinki, and I have also applied for an NF Scholarship to get help with my career development.
