Official Scouting Partner for Sporting CP in Scandinavia
NF Academy and Sporting CP officialized their old partnership with the protocol’s signature.
For our followers and players, this is nothing new. NF Academy and Sporting CP already worked together in the last 2 years on Youth Talent identification in Scandinavian countries, but the Protocol’s signature was postponed due to the current pandemic situation.
On March 22nd 2021, the two academies’ heads met and finally made this partnership official.

This partnership will be focused on youth ages; it’s another step that Sporting CP takes in other markets than the Portuguese. We will cover the whole Scandinavian region with this partnership. It’s another way to bring value to Sporting CP teams.

There is one capacity from youth Scandinavian players that we think is very important: the ability to discipline. They are very focused and cognitively developed players. Besides that, they have a great capacity to assimilate, develop and leverage what they already have. This ends up contrasting a little with the Portuguese player, which can bring benefits to Sporting CP.

How can an NF Player benefit from this partnership and train in a big academy like Sporting CP?
Simple, participating in an NF program.
Our coaches do an internal evaluation of all participating players in all events. Based on the evaluation and the player’s level, we give invitations to train with European academies of top quality, our scholarship program, participation in elite international tournaments with our elite teams, or participation in international training camps.
NF Academy main goal is to support the youth players in their sports journey. As a first step, provide high-quality training camps and other customized programs to improve their abilities. In a second step, create the chance for the players to reach the next level.
