NF Academy is bringing one of the most successful form of player development in the world to England. We begin with the NF International Trials in Hertfordshire from 5th – to 7th of august.
This is great news for all young players who need extra quality training. NF Academy comes with exclusive training and tournament programs as well as individual follow-up, which has so far only been reserved for the Scandinavian countries.
Now Josh Penny, in collaboration with the NF Academy, has decided to bring player development to football’s homeland.
It will take place with the NF International Trials program in Hertfordshire, where there will be three days of high quality training from August 5 to August 7 at Wodson Park. This is suitable for all boys and girls born in 2006-2013.

The Road to Sporting CP
NF International Trials are our most popular program, and will be rolled out in full this summer across large parts of Scandinavia. Hertfordshire is also on the poster. The goal is to provide quality training, contribute to the development of local players and map out talents that we can provide international opportunities for.
Our high intensity sessions will be conducted and players will have a unique opportunity to work closely with Portuguese player developers with backgrounds from Sporting CP, SL Benfica and other top academies in Portugal.
During each NF International Trials camp we will select 1-2 “Players of the Camp”. These will receive invitations to and free participation in the NF Qualification Camp at the end of the summer in Denmark.
During the NF Qualification camp, Sporting CP provides its own scout, picking out several players who will gain a one week training stay with one of the world’s best academies.
In the footsteps of Ronaldo and Figo
NF Academy is based on the Portuguese methodology, which has already proven to be one of the most successful in the World. Not just looking to the youth talents Portugal produces, but also the top Portuguese coaches that today led top European clubs.
In the last 20 years, Portugal has built some of the world’s best players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Bernardo Silva, Luis Figo, Bruno Fernandes, João Félix, Diogo Jota, João Cancelo, and many others. Portuguese academies are doing a great job.
Therefore we have coaches with a background in top Portuguese academies like Sporting CP and SL Benfica, and that is a significant boost for our players.
