Jacob is a complete defender: fast, strong, specialist in 1vs1 defensive situations. In addition to his defensive skills, he is a playmaker; with a good vision and reading of the game, Jacob has the capacity to build and participate in offensive actions, especially in the middle zone.
At just 15 years old, Jacob already impresses a lot in football. This year Jacob signed a professional contract with Ullern IF, will represent the Norwegian National team for the first time, and joined Sporting CP academy for 1 week through NF Academy. 2021 will be a year to remember for this youth star.
NF Academy wants to highlight the paper from his club, Ullern IF. The club always motivates and supports Jacob to join new experiences, as he did with NF joining Sporting CP. The culture and philosophy of the club do not focus on having the players as property; they are focus on the player’s development. NF totally subscribes to this philosophy and does not doubt that Ullern IF has a substantial positive impact on Jacob’s journey.
JACOB AT NF ACADEMY
We met Jacob in 2019 at the Team Training event in Ullern. NF Coaches get impressed with his talent and start thinking about international plans for the player.
Due to the pandemic situation, was not possible to move on with the invitations NF planned, but the follow-up didn’t stop. In June 2021, Jacob joined the Sporting CP academy in Portugal for a training week with the U15 main team. A unique experience to the youth star shows his talent and try a different environment in a different country and in one of the most prestigious football academies in the world.
NF still working together with Jacob on his journey. We can just predict good things from such a talented defender.
