NF HIGH PERFORMANCE
PORTUGAL
NF High Performance is an elite training camp for players who want to reach the next level. It is an intensive 10-day development camp where players will be guided by experienced Portuguese coaches. During the training camp, you will play against top Portuguese teams like Sporting CP, Estoril de Praia, CF Belenenses, CD Mafra, Casa Pia AC, among others. You will be able to showcase your skills to the top clubs in Portugal and to the USA College Coaches who are in this program to recruit players.
NF High Performance Camp takes place in Rio Maior performance center from 15th to 25th of July 2024.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Players wishing to apply for participation should have a very high regional level and need to be approved to participate.
Age groups squads:
- Older Squad: 2006 and 2007 (Maximum of 22 players, with 20 field players and 2 Goalkeepers)
- Younger Squad: 2008 and 2009 (Maximum of 22 players, with 20 field players and 2 Goalkeepers)
GOALS WITH THE PROGRAM
Our main objectives in NF High Performance is to provide players with friendly matchs against strong teams, give the players a better understanding of the game and provide experience in integrating into a team with good players.
During the program, we will do a full evaluation of all the players. Each player will have a meeting with their head coach and get detailed feedback on what they need to improve to reach a higher level. All the players will be provided with an evaluation report with the purpose to give guidance for their training work when they return to their country.

FREE WEEK IN CASCAIS WITH OUR PARTNER CLUB
NF is offering all the players who book an International Program the opportunity to be evaluated in Cascais, Portugal by our partner club GDS Cascais Futebol SAD. During this week, the player will be evaluated by the club Performance Department and train with the teams from his age.
This offer does not include flights, accommodation or transportation.
This offer is only available for the players who book an International Program until March 31st 2024.

RIO MAIOR SPORTS CENTER, PORTUGAL
Players will stay at Rio Maior Sports Center throughout the program. This Sports Center was the former training center for the Portuguese national youth team and where UEFA A and UEFA PRO certifications were awarded. The players will be accommodated in 3 to 4 person rooms at the Sports Center, where they will have access to a wide variety of facilities and services.

NF Academy uses skilled and experienced coaches with backgrounds from European big clubs. We want a profile with ambitious coaches great academic weight for our projects. The coaches are carefully selected from applications we receive and our existing contact network.

GONÇALO NUNES
HEAD COACH AND NF ACADEMY DIRECTOR
NF Academy International Director Gonçalo Nunes has an impressive 25-year background in youth football. He is a solid resource for both NF Academy and the players in the academy system together with NF Academy Director Joao Plantier.
Gonçalo has mainly worked as Head Coach, technical coordinator and technical director for 25 years in international football. He has a UEFA-A license as well as level 3 IPDJ as a sports coach, and is really looking forward to working closer to the talented players of NF Academy.
International Background
He has worked under Carlos Queiroz, and the Manchester United football school project for 6 years. Gonçalo has also been linked to Sporting Clube de Portugal for 2 years, and for the past 5 years he has been responsible for the international field of youth football in Sport Lisboa e Benfica. There he has also been a player developer coordinator for the past three years.
During the last decade, he has been involved in several international projects and programs at various levels, where he has traveled around the world, as well as coordinating and involved with thousands of players and coaches on programs in Portugal.
