BARCELONA SUMMER CUP
Barcelona Summer Cup is a mid-level tournament near Barcelona in Spain, where players can train and play against international teams while families enjoy their summer vacations in Salou.
This tournament takes place between 29 and 5 of July. Before every tournament players will have 2 days of training with NF Academy’s top Portuguese coaches as a preparation for the tournament.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Barcelona Summer Cup is a mid level tournament where players born between 2003 and 2004 can apply for participation and we will participate in 2003 category.
PLAYER PACKAGE
• Accommodation in triple rooms in hotel at Salou
• All meals included (only dinner on arrival day and lunch on departure) – 2 days preparational training camp before each tournament
• Bus transportation to training sessions and matches
• Experienced Portuguese head coach to each team
• 1 physiotherapist and goal keeper coach shared between the NF teams – Team and individual meetings
• Social program and supervision of players
• Individual player report
Equipment package is a mandatory add-on for players who do not have one.

Training sessions with NF Academy coaches

Tournament matches. Finals and closing ceremony by lunch time.
Friday, July 5th
Lunch and departure.
HOTEL IN SALOU
You will stay in hotel located in Salou and at a short walk distance to the training sessions.
The tournament organization will inform us which hotel you will stay in one month before it starts.
SALOU, SPAIN
Salou is a resort town along Spain’s northeastern Costa Daurada, in the Tarragona province. Its beaches range from small, craggy coves to the busy main Llevant and Ponent strips. It’s popular for windsurfing, sailing and golf. The Coastal Path, once used by fishermen like the one immortalized in a nearby statue, is now known for its sunrise and sunset views.
GONÇALO NUNES
HEAD COACH AND NF ACADEMY DIRECTOR
NF Academy International Director Gonçalo Nunes has an impressive 25-year background in youth football. He is a solid resource for both NF Academy and the players in the academy system together with NF Academy Director Joao Plantier.
Gonçalo has mainly worked as Head Coach, technical coordinator and technical director for 25 years in international football. He has a UEFA-A license as well as level 3 IPDJ as a sports coach, and is really looking forward to working closer to the talented players of NF Academy.
